Our project aims to enrich the experience of community tailors by providing access to the latest equipment in the field of tailoring. Recognizing that technology plays a crucial role in facilitating creativity and innovation, we seek to ensure that local tailors have the tools they need to stay updated and competitive in a rapidly evolving industry.
The project aims to offer comprehensive tailoring training programs with three sessions of 10 weeks each year, catering to beginners, intermediates, and advanced tailors. It will provide a supportive environment for advanced tailors to develop their creativity and serve independent clients, business incubators with all necessary equipment to succeed. The program targets students aged 10 and above, with sessions scheduled for Fall 2024, Spring 2025, and Summer 2025.

- Develop Tailor Skills:
Equip Students with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in tailoring, covering basic to advanced techniques. - Career Path Development:
Encourage students to view tailoring as a viable career option, providing them with the skills and confidence to pursue opportunities in the field. - Business Objectives:
Educate students on the four main business objectives – economic, social, human, and organic – to instill a holistic understanding of entrepreneurship in the tailoring industry. - Personal Development:
Beyond technical skills, emphasize the personal development benefits of tailoring, such as fine motor skills enhancement, improved focus and concentration, patience, self-control, confidence building, and self-esteem.
By offering structured training programs and fostering a supportive environment, the project aims to empower individuals to pursue careers in tailoring while simultaneously enhancing their personal development and well-being.
The cost of this project is $1000 per individual, we will be offering $250 scholarships in the names of Arthur & Barbara Johnson and Robert & Marjorie Jones to individuals who cannot afford to pay the fill price of this project. We are targeting at risk youth, teenagers and young adults from ages 10-24. We also invite programs for seniors and veterans, and evening programs for ex-offenders of our discretion, and for those who in recovery that wants a change in their lives and want a new career.
